AHIP: Health Plan Examples of Telehealth Growth During COVID-19

1. CVS Health saw a 600% growth in telehealth and virtual visits in the first quarter of 2020 compared to 2019 Q1.
2. BCBS of Tennessee saw 50 times more telehealth visits in May 2020 compared to their "normal amount"
3. Blue Cross of Idaha processed more than 90,500 telehealth claims between March and June of 2020, with telehealth now representing more than one-quarter of all claims
4. Telehealth visits for UPMC increased 3,700% by the end of April.
