- An extra 20 million people now have healthcare access due to the health insurance exchanges
- The uninsured rate fell to 9.1 percent across the country in 2015
- The report estimates that 7.4 million people gained coverage in 2015 as compared to the prior year
- When looking at non-elderly adults, the uninsured rate dropped from 16.3 percent to 12.8 percent last year
- Insurance coverage among children also fell one percentage point to 4.5 percent
