  1. Mississippi - Mississippi has the highest rate of food insecurity in the nation with 21.5 percent of adults aged 60 and older who are marginally food insecure
  2. Oklahoma - Oklahoma has one of the highest percentages of underweight seniors at 3.1 percent of adults aged 65 and older
  3. Louisiana - Louisiana has one of the highest rates of preventable hospitalizations in the U.S. at 92.1 discharges per 1,000 Medicare enrollees
  4. West Virginia - West Virginia ranks in the bottom 10 states for 7 of the 8 behavior measures and ranks 49th for the Behaviors category overall
  5. Arkansas - Arkansas has one of the lowest percentages of dental visits in the nation at 59.1 percent of adults aged 65 and older who visited the dentist in the last year
