- Health Maintenance Organization Act of 1973
- Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003
- Employee Retirement Income Securities Act of 1974
Notes: ERISA in 1974, among other things, addressed employer self-insurance, and allowed ERISA plans to fall under federal and not state jurisdiction
